Hi all I am looking for some advice I have a a6 c5 all road Quattro 2005 with a bose sound system (Amp in the boot) and the sat nav head unit.

i have a double din stereo which I want to install I took out the original today and bought the wiring harness but I have an issue when I disconnect the original stereo I try and connect up the new wiring harness it doesn’t have a connection for the speakers.
 

Unable to upload a pic of it but it has the standard power connection, then a blue 12 pin connection and a 12 pin green connection. 
 

from testing I found if I disconnect the green plug I lose sound can I just connect that to the new stereo or would that go to the amp?
