Hi does anybody know what these buttons are for on a audi a4 1997 circled in red not sure if pic shows it's the one under auto on the left and the second on the right

Welcome to the forum Lynsey you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂

The left circled button is to turn on/off the air conditioning. The right circled button is to allow the air to come through the dash vents.

Hi do you know where I could get a owners manual at all tried the links got a Haynes manual 

Hello Lynsey, 

Are you talking the owner’s handbook here, or some sort of official Audi workshop manual? 

If owners handbook:- Tried EBay, and/or placing a wanted ad. in the specialist ‘classic car’ press? - e.g. Modern Classics, Classic Car Weekly, Classic Car Buyer etc. etc.

If you're after a vehicle owners/operators manual my advice would be to try eBay.
