Noise when engine is turned off.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help, I noticed a noise on my 2011 2.0 tdi A5 when the engine is switched off. Sounds like a fan shutting down or something and only lasts about 2 seconds but its just suddenly started.

Please excuse the video quality but does anyone have any ideas on what it might be??

Cheers

Mark

Cheers Steve, it's not an extended turning on of the fans like normally happens with a DPF regen it's literally for about 2 seconds everytime the engine is turned off.

Oo right, might be worth getting a diagnostic check carried out as I wonder if a sensor is playing up?
