Judsonig Posted November 8, 2020 Share Posted November 8, 2020 I have an A6 Avant Sport 1.9tdi 2002. I am replacing the front suspension arms. All went well until I found that the front lower track control arms I have been sent have a ball pin with 20mm at small end of taper, whereas mine needs 16mm. Every other dimension of the arm & bushes seems identical. My old arm carries the Audi part number 4B0407155 and that seems to be a very elusive part number. However there are plenty of sources for arms with 16mm pins although the OEM part numbers they quote don't end in 5. Steve Q Posted November 10, 2020 Share Posted November 10, 2020 It sounds like you e been sent the wrong part. The correct one for yours is the 16mm whereas the new ones which are incorrect are designed for the rs6 and s6 I believe.
