Q3 2020 "clunk" from rear

Featured Replies

I have noticed recently that when I hit a small pothole or come off a raised speed bump, I get a clunk from the rear drivers side, it like something is bouncing. I have checked under the car and all appears tight, nothing loose in the boot etc. The only thing I can put it down to is maybe the MHEV block in the boot has batteries or something inside which bounce.

Anyone else noticed this on their Q3, or got any ideas?

Sorted, audi found it was the rear shock and had a "dry pad" inside, they knew about this and replaced the shock and all is well
