Headlights for continental Europe

Featured Replies

Taking the S3 Quattro to Switzerland for an extended period and will need Swiss registration.

Does anyone know if "LHD" headlights will be a straight swap and whether these would be available in the UK?

Thanks

Mike

They should be a straight swap. However, before you go out and buy new lights. It might be the case that your headlights can be adjusted for continental Europe. This would have to be done by a computer I believe if possible.

Probably not relevant to your S3, but the headlights on my 2017 A3 can be adjusted for driving on the right via MMI. The dipped beam doesn't convert totally to LHD mode, but just flattens the left edge of the beam, but I've always found it adequate.

Apologies if you've already been through this, and found it doesn't apply to your car!
