Strange window behaviour - remote windows not working

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a couple of strange issues:

The driver's side window on my B7 convertible sits about 1cm high when lowered, instead of disappearing fully in the door, like the passenger side. I think the driver side window should go fully down, can anyone confirm?

Also, I have convenience windows, but the remote does not lower or raise the windows. BUT, using the key in the door does.

Can anyone advise?

I have read a LOT of threads about windows and have tried all the reset methods etc, but can't find a solution to this

The car also shows no fault codes.

Thanks!!

Yea the window should fit flush like the others. Is the window going up abd down smoothly? If not it could be a regulator issue. My other advice would be to get an auto electrician to take a look.
