Right speaker channels not working proerly

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have a 2009 a3.   Standard head unit I guess.  Had it a few months now but just noticed the right side speaker channels front and rear arent working properly.  No bass at all from the front and the rear just sounds odd.  I guess its so loud on the right I failed to notice lol

I have taken the door panels off on the right but cant see anything odd. Cables etc   Didnt have time last night  but wanted to swap the speakers from left to right to rule them out.

I am assuming they dont do anything funny and using the fade and balance in each corner I should get exactly the same sound ?!!

But do these units go wrong ?   Do they have any common faults before I start destroying the thing ?

Thanks
