I have a audi a4 b8 tfsi.

its the keyless fob thing which i have lost, no spare. (be kind)

Car is currently unlocked so could be worse.

Any options other than going to Audi ? and likley cost from those that have done it.

Definitely worth contacting a local vehicle locksmith first as they'll be cheaper. Or try aa as I think they might have a key service. 

When you say the keyless fob do you mean the fob with the key because generally there is an Old fashioned key and there is a keyhole in the drivers door for getting in and out. 

But if you need the fob to start the car anyway then I think that Audi is your only option - I'd probably get a spare just to he safe ;-)
