Full Bose Symphony 2, odd problem.

When I first start to play music the front door speakers sound rough. After a few minutes it sounds okay. If I park and want to play the music at low volume, it again sounds rough, lots of bass distortion. As soon as I pump it up and drive it sounds okay again. Any ideas? This is an 03 A6 C5.

I'd be speaking to an auto electrician about this as it could be a wiring issue. As your car has Bose then the sub should be in the passenger side boot panel I think.

The first thing I'd do if you're mechanically minded is take off the door cards and inspect the wiring.
