Im on the lookout for a car and I like the look of the A4s. Anyway this has shown up a few miles away but I know nothing about them. Iv never owned a diesel as I probably only do 7k a year mostly local. Can anyone give me advice on whether the car is worth looking atI know diesels benefit from long fast motorway runs. Is this particular engine/gearbox reliable and is there things I should look out for? Thanks for the help.

My advice is look at buyers guides on YouTube. But if you're doing 7k miles a year then I'd strongly recommend you get a petrol. The diesels like to do big mileages. And short journeys can block up the dpf & EGR as the engine doesn't get warm enough to get rid of the soot via a regeneration. This is where it burns off the soot particulates. They're around £1000 to replace.
