fuel system pressure p0087

Featured Replies

Hello guys i need help. was driving my a7 3.0tdi one day home and the glow plug warning light came on and the engine just stopped. when tries to start again it feel it is so close but does not start. the issues i have on the computer is p0087 low fuel pressure. i have changed the high pressure pump, fuel tank pump and fuel filter but still the issue persists. also the injectors have been tested which are fine. please help if anyone has been with the same issue

Here's a link to the sane issue. To be fair you've done everything on it so unless the tank float has got stuck on your car like the one on the thread. But you should look to taking it to Audi.

On this link it's showing an issue with the fuel pump relay:

Hi the float will be attached to the new lift pump it sounds like it could be a collapsed or blocked fuel line start by removing the feed pipe to the filter housing and see if it pumps out fuel when the ignition is cycled if it does it could be you have a dodgy fuel rail pressure sensor.
