Bromsgrovebaggie Posted February 15, 2022 Share Posted February 15, 2022 I picked up my new RS5 coupe last week and the one thing I'm completely underwhelmed by is the B&O sound system which is part of the Comfort and Sound pack, in particular the lack of bass even with the subwoofer settings turned up. I had a Golf before which had the Dynaudio sound system and that was much better. Is this a common complaint or could there be a problem? I was expecting great things of a B&O system and I'm really disappointed by it; apart from the lack of bass, the whole system sounds very ordinary. I’ll try different settings to see if I can improve the sound quality that way - some of the owners who posted in the link you kindly posted seem to have had some success although surely something isn’t right if the bass settings have to be cranked up to nearly maximum to be effective. I’m surprised that a company with the reputation of B&O approve of the set up in the A5. It doesn’t reflect well on them as a premium audio brand.
