Help with turbo acutator

Featured Replies

Hi folks i am a new member and was looking for some advice,i recentley had a glow plug warning light on the dash i scanned with vcds and got Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor Circuit
          P2563 00 [237] - Implausible Signal

i bought a vacuum tester and have tested the acutator and it seems fine got over 500 mmhg vac and held it.i then disconnected the vacuum pipe from the acutator and started the car and was getting about 200mmhg vac so i am not sure if its the acutator or vacuum thats throwing the fault.if i start the car up and let it tick over the glow light fault comes up but if i start up and disconnect the vacuum pipe the glow light stays of..there does seem to be a bit of soot round the top of the acutator but am just not sure what to do next..much appreciated if i could get so advice thanks Elliot..
