Hi, I have the inspection service come up on my dashboard, vehicle is 70 reg, when I purchased the vehicle I was told that this would be due in 2 years from registration or 19000 miles what ever come first, vehicle has done 13000 miles, Audi uk have confirmed this. Would anyone know why I am getting this message 3 months before.

The car might have been sitting 3 months prior to registration maybe? 

Or the car has decided it needs a service now due to the computer/sensors picking up degradation of the oil for example. I'd be getting it booked in if it were mine. 

Hi thanks for the response, the oil service has been done in January, speaking to the dealer it appears when the car was delivered to the customer the counts were not reset, as the inspection service is 19000 miles or 2 years which ever comes first, and this starts from delivery.

Hi the inspection service is a load of old scollops, they wander around filming the underneath with a camera trying to find things they can make money out of and terrify you into throwing your bank account at them, things like brake pads 25% worn, slight lip on discs, tyres only have 5mm of tread, the list is endless I bought VCDS and terminated the service inspection message by setting the date to 00/00/0000, that stopped it and over the last 100k I can't say I missed it.
