I put the dogs in the boot first and then when I get in car it refuses to start on the button. I have to get in and out again for car to start. An uadi safelock warning comes up. I have had the car for a year and has only just started doing this. It could be a failing jet battery. I'd look at getting new battery in the fob and then reset the key.
