Coolant leak - easy fix?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

New member here and have ran into a problem with my 2.0 TFSI Black Edition S Tronic 3dr. There seems to be a leak somewhere, with my coolant empty 24H after filling it up. I have attached pictures of where I can see a pool of liquid and was just wondering if this is a common occurrence and an easy fix or if its worth taking to a mechanic.

(Don't really know my way around cars at all)

Thanks in advance

Id be getting it to a garage pronto as the rate of coolant loss is extensive.

No coolant loss should be ignored, particularly one as bad as that, unless you want to ruin the engine.

As you don't know your way around cars I agree with Steve that it should be taken to a garage as soon as possible.
