Hi folks, anyone having problems with they’re fuel cap not opening, have tried the pull cord in boot, but no luck🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I think you have to remove the boot interior trim pieces around the flap to gain access. Similar issues are known on the a7.

It's a known common problem, have a search on the net you will find some videos or forum posts on it.

From memory you will need to replace the plastic inner part, as the solenoid? packs in and its fixed to plastic but. it's not that expensive and looks like a doable diy job.

To get in at the moment you could try pressing the cap as you unlock the car if that doesn't work then prying it open is the way, obviously being careful with the paint work.

If you can't find a link I'll have a look when I get home later.
