K3v Posted May 31, 2022 Share Posted May 31, 2022 It's a known common problem, have a search on the net you will find some videos or forum posts on it. From memory you will need to replace the plastic inner part, as the solenoid? packs in and its fixed to plastic but. it's not that expensive and looks like a doable diy job. To get in at the moment you could try pressing the cap as you unlock the car if that doesn't work then prying it open is the way, obviously being careful with the paint work.
