Hi what is the most reliable Audi a8 d4 ,        i am talking about face lift engines only, should i pick diesel or petrol i dont want to go to issues and repairs soon , so i dont want problematic engines , please tell me what is the best most reliable engine for d4 face lift?

And what issues i can expect from it or from other engines...

The question what s, how many miles do you do a year and what kind of miles. If it's low miles mainly around town then avoid diesel as you'll just end up with blocked egr or dpfs.

If most are in town then I think you'd be better with petrol to be honest. Regardless of engine make sure the gearbox has been serviced on time and that the tyres match/say tread as uneven tyre wear can damage the quattro system.

So whats the best petrol engine which i need to search for :)?

For d4 face lift

is it w12?

W12 is reliable and smooth but very thirsty.
