I have audi a4 I searched for ambient air temperature sensor but I didn’t find it I found cut 2 wire comes from horn wires 

so it is air sensor wired or not

Hi . Did you ever find out if that was the wire .im in the same boat . My ambient temp sensor is playing up and I cannot see the wires for it
