Audi a6 2008 3ltr engine cuts out turning right

Featured Replies

I have an audi a6 estate automatic 3lt 2008.

The engine intermittently turns its self off and locks the steering wheel. Usually when turning the wheel to the right. I was told it was the manifold so changed that now the garage says there are no fault codes so have no idea how to fix this

It's possibly dangerous

It sounds like an electrical issue to me. When I worked in the motor trade I found cars that had batteries with very low charge would do this. Has the battery and electrics been checked?
