Hi. I am a new member. I have a 2014 A3 Sportsback 2ltr Diesel. 
I am unable to get 6th Gear

have only done 33,000 miles I’m told it’s a gearbox removal and repair costing up to £2000

has anyone any experience of this problem ?

Has the gear linkage been checked?

the other gears work ok, but not very smoothly, was wondering if the oil needs ginger, 33,500 miles

had the car since 19,000 about four years.

I'd definitely recommend a gearbox oil change.

I tried Audi Dealership in Doncaster, they want £99 just to look at it, so rang a gearbox specialist in Sheffield, and they are going to ring back tomorrow with a solution. Let you know the outcome ,
