Hi All.

I have recently bought a second hand S Line special edition. Excellent performance.

Only concern is that the turbo seems to kick in pretty early with a very throaty sound. Very sporty sounding.

But is it normal for the sound to be so obvious and present - even when back down at low revs (2000) and speeds 30mph?

NB - not a high pitched whine - as in failing turbo.

Could it have been remapped?.

Highly like this has been a remapped engine, mine does the same when spooling up. But bare in mind, if it has an aftermarket air filter you will get the turbo spooling sound much louder.
