Zk2007 Posted January 14, 2023 Share Posted January 14, 2023 Hi I have an a3 where the gearbox is playing up usually when I'm slowing down from 12mph downwards the gear change is not smooth. All other times it's fine. The problem started off just once in a while and is now becoming more frequent. Steve Q Posted January 15, 2023 Share Posted January 15, 2023 I agree with Gareth, definitely do the gearbox oil change if not done in a while. You could also look to see if the gearbox software needs updating or a diagnostic check.ro see if any fault codes flag up. There's an independent Audi specialist in Wigston Leicester called Chapman's. I've never used them but they could be one of the closer Audi specialists to you.
