Gianluca.pal_ Posted January 14, 2023 Share Posted January 14, 2023 i recently bought a 2014 Audi a4 1.8tfsi, but when i come to a stop and pull off straight after the car revs to about 2000 rpm and then it feels like it releases the brake and just jumps forward. The car has 89000km on it and I'm not sure which transmission it has but it has 7 gears. Steve Q Posted January 15, 2023 Share Posted January 15, 2023 Is this the handbrake engaging? If recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If the issue is with the gearbox I'd recommend a gearbox oil change depending on when it was last done.
