Shaking when accelerating 60mph no shake when let off the gas

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, my Audi 2009 A6 Avant has devolved a really bad shaking when at 60mph when you try to accelerate. As soon as you let off the gas the shaking stops.  The vibrations are through the floor and through the seat. Cannot tell if it’s left or right. I have had all tyres checked and rebalanced. New discs and pads at the rear are being fitted today as they are well worn however as it’s just acceleration that is causing it I don’t think it is the discs. I have read the inner CV joint might be an issue. It’s the 2.0 SE. Diesel. Just been serviced and has 165000 miles on it. I have it booked in on 2 weeks time but wondered if anyone has had similar issues. The car drives solid as a rock up to speeds of 50mph. Any help is much appreciated.
