Buying a high mileage S4 B9

Hi everyone,

Looking at buying a high mileage automatic S4 2017. It's been advertised at 120,000 miles, advert says it's mainly motorway miles. Says it's recently had new oil and air filter. Advertised at just under £20k but says open to offers.

Is there anything I should look out for, and what is the lifespan of this car in terms of miles? What would you think is a good price? Looks in pretty good condition, could do with a wheel refurb.

Thanks

Check the service history. Is it full?

Has the gearbox oil change been done on time.

Has the quattro system been serviced on time.

Do all electrical items work?

As they can be expensive to fix.

Does the AC work.

Check YouTube for buyers guides.

Have you checked the on-line MOT history, and when the last V5 was issued.
£20K for a c6 year old S4 having covered 20k/a seems expensive to me, but you would need to check this out.
Manual or auto? If manual, when was the clutch changed? If auto, when as the a gearbox oil service carried out.
Suspension is likely to be getting weak at that mileage.
Kind regards,

Gareth.
