Hi I’m looking at a friends car. His electric windows suddenly packed up. Does anyone else have this issue. I’ve tried replacing the switches in the drivers door card. And nothing. I’m about to try taking the electric window motor off the drivers door. And see if that works off or away from the door. Other than that I’ve been told that all the window regulators need to be repaired or replaced.  Can anyone shed some light on this matter.  are there any relays for the electric windows that need to be replacing. 

If get the wiring checked for breaks, in failing that is also recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Worse case scenario the CCM is on the way out
