Induction kits

Featured Replies

Have posted on this forum about an induction kit that I saw a few months ago, now looking on buying only the cone air filter and a silicone vacuum hose and just replacing those in my audi a3 1.2 tfsi. Im looking to get the dump sound of the turbo so my question is if this is going to be a good budget solution? I found this air filter in amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0779G92L9/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1 from Ramair. Looking for other recomendation arround the same price £50, which I know aint much. Also If I end up buying this, should I remove the air filter housing completly or just the cap? If i choose to remove the air filter housing will I need a mounting bracket?

Hate to rain on your parade but when I looked at induction kits for my A6 it transpired they were worse due to the heat soak and the stock airbox system was better. You might be better off with the upgraded panel filter instead of you're looking for slightly more hp. Heat soak will reduce hp.
