Featured Replies

Audi a3 s line diesel 57 plate. Driving on motorway was all good until hit 70 and sixth gear, car then loss power, turned off and on again and was fine for a bit then happened again, the ecs warning light came on, can anyone give me any ideas

Hello Stella,

Many thanks for joining, and sorry to hear you have trouble with your A3.
Whereas it would be possible to approach this from a ‘could be this, could be that’ approach  -in other words guessing what might be the cause, the most reliable way forward is to have the car plugged in for a diagnostic check, for fault codes so you can home in on finding the issue.

Perhaps you could let us know how you get on.
Kind regards,

Gareth.

I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up too. Could be turbo, fuel or air issue but I'm guessing

Thank you, having test done tomorrow
