GLYN S Posted July 28, 2023 Share Posted July 28, 2023 After a bit of a drive in Auto Mode,I often get a dash warning stating "Gearbox Malfunction---OK To Keep Driving" and the Gearbox immediately reverts to Manual Mode. I then continue my journey with no obvious problems in Manual.(2008 4.2 R8 with 26,000mls) Has anybody had a similar experience ?. Any ideas of cause/reason ?.Any ideas for sorting the problem.Any idea where the port for fault-reading can be found ?. I am very much "lost". ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. Steve Q Posted July 28, 2023 Share Posted July 28, 2023 I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? Think the obd port is under the driver side lower dash.
