airbag light

Featured Replies

hello all,my airbag light came on last weekend on my 1995 audi coupe, the vcds is saying its the airbag igniter on the passenger side ,i tried clearing it but it keeps coming back.is this the cylinder type unit attached to the seat belt assembly and can it be replaced?ive never seen this come up as a fault before.thanks greg.

Hello Gregg,

Always worth giving the under-seat connectors a good dose of contact cleaner - and a good wiggle - before doing anything else.
Beware ( in caps) do not remove or violently wiggle any of the connectors.
Kind regards,

Gareth.
