New A5 - Driver Assist?

Featured Replies

Hi there, new to this forum and to Audi.

I've just bought a new A5, after having borrowed a friends A3 for a couple of months. The A3 had driver assist, which seemed to only include lane assist. The A5 has the visual for lane assist, but doesn't seem to have any of the driver assist features. Either I'm not finding out how to engage, and so is the Audi garage also, or the newer and more expensive A5 doesn't have this feature. The manual is not helpful - instructs me to engage by depressing the switch on the end of the indicator level. There is no switch.

Can anyone help? Does the A5 have driver assist, if yes how do I engage, if not can it be retro fitted/activated? Presumably at a cost.

Thanks

Simon
