DPF regen?

Featured Replies

Hi all! Just picked up my 65 plate A3 2.0 TDI l, drove it 170 miles home and it didn’t miss a beat. The issue I’m having now is that the cooling fans kick in for 5 mins quite loudly once I’ve turned the ignition off. This is regardless of how far or long I’ve been driving, it’s every time.

I understand this is probably the DPF regen but should it happen every time I use the car?! I was expecting it every now and then but not after every use?

thanks! 😊

You could always get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If you've just bought it from a dealer then they should fix any issues FOC within the last 30 days
