Marco315 Posted September 29, 2023 Share Posted September 29, 2023 So here is the story so far… I had an auto electrician come and have a look at the car and he said that the ECU was knackered and that he was almost positive as soon as I got my ECU cloned the car would start up… now I’ve had my ECU cloned and fitted the new ECU and now it’s throwing the faults up as below. Now the ones which I think are causing the problem is the P1040 & P1042 but the problem is I aren’t getting a voltage to the plugs on the injectors. Now I can’t find a lot on line about this but what I can find is everyone pointing to the ECU… but my ECU can’t be the issue as I’ve just had it cloned 🤦🏼♂️. Anyone shed any light on it or help in any way? I rang them yesterday but apparently they can’t help. Unfortunately I’m probably going to have to sell the car, I just can’t justify spending anymore on it.
