Third row seat error message with third row removed

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I’m new here - name’s Jan, (not short for Janet, I’m a bloke 😀), I live in Ireland.

My 2017 Q7 was converted to commercial by having third row seats removed. While I don’t mind it (cos I don’t need a seven seater), every time I start the car I'm getting a third row seat prompt message, combined with that annoying beep.

Would removing the third row fuse (12B on the boot fuse box, per the manual linked below) fix the issue? I mean, these seats are physically not there, I don’t give a toss about the reminder to do anything with them.

Thanks,

Got rid of the fuse, the error message's gone now. 🙂
