Accelerator noise

Featured Replies

Hi,

I recently purchased a 2017 Audi Q5. There is 80k miles on it and it has just had a major service.

I have noticed when accelerating for the first time after starting the car there is like a grinding noise and feeling in the accelerator pedal for about 2-3 seconds. It’s almost as if it is something kicking in as it doesn’t happen throughout the rest of the journey.

Has anyone else encountered this or know what this could be?

Thanks

If the car has been purchased from a dealer In the last 30 days then the supplying dealer has a duty to fix any issues FOC.

Either way I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could the electronic handbrake not disengaging correctly.
