Child lock error - visit worksop

Over the last few weeks I have had this message come up on the dash.

I can clear it by hitting the child lock bottom on the drivers side, and then turning off the child lock again, but it comes back again.

I wonder if anyone else has had this with the A3 and, if so, how it was solved. Is it expensive to fix!

hi,

ive got a 2012 A6 and have had this issue since ive owned the car. i keep checking this website every now and again to see if someone post a fix for the issue.

ive seen alot of people talking about it both so far no sultions as of yet. if i find anything ill reply to this post for you đź‘Ť

 

likewise  if you fix the issue it would be great for an update.
