Hello all,

New to the forums so I'm here for a first post.

Looking to impart whatever knowledge I have (not much) and gain some from the members here in the forums.

A brief history of my Audi experiences would be ownership in the 90s of an Audi Coupe GT 2.2 5 cylinder. Great car that was. This was followed by an Audi 80 quattro 2.0 litre. Much more refined than the coupe. Both I found to be excellent cars and very enjoyable drives.

Fast forward to now, after 15 years or so working abroad, and I've continued with my Audi tradition by recently purchasing an Audi A3 8V 1.5 Sportback. It doesn't even have a real handbrake! 🤯

Like to do my own maintenance where possible but this seems to have become more problematic than it used to to be. In the middle of a spark plug change, so I'll pop over to the 8V forum to see if anyone there can give advice on a problem encountered with this.

Looking forward to being an active member of the forums.
