Fitting multifunction Steering Wheel-?

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a A4 Avant 2005 S LineB7 and I am looking to upgrade my steering wheel from the standard to one with multifunction use with the volume and radio control, I have the concert radio, the one I will be replacing it with is a genuine Audi wheel

I am just wondering is it as simple as plug and play or is there a wiring loom requirement?

Thanks

Sam.

It is very possible that your car's wiring loom will not have the appropriate wires and connectors for the wheel you want to use. Unless somebody can confirm otherwise you should visually check that such connections do exist before buying a new wheel.

Cheers Cliff, appreciate the advice. I will have a look at the existing connectors before continuing.

Thanks for the advice Steve, would you happen to know if this is just a wiring loom for the wheel or whether it would need a new loom connecting to the radio? I'm quite new to Audi

Appreciate the advice Steve.
