Hi all,

I've recently bought a a4 cab so my issue is it can't open the roof and it rasies for the catches to unlock it also closes and locks what it won't do is fold down seems as if there not enough power to flip the rood to fold away was working a week or so ago any ideas ??

Get the car scanned with VCDS. There will be hydraulic pump or electric motors for the roof potentially failing depending on model year. Should show up with a scan. Tends to be more of a specialist job. See who’s local to you and go on positive reviews. Goes without saying, don’t go near the main dealer unless this is within a warranty period.

Hi ..

It's a 2007 .. I'll get it scanned and do the work myself do most work on my cars myself for the past 15 years saved me a fortune haha.

I am going to check the fluid level when I get home working away atm but I'll keep the post updated

ive fixed the roof it was the bushed in the motor sticking i followed the video and now all working as it should
