I'm toying with the idea of de-chroming my car. It's just a matter of personal taste but I think black trim would work really well with the aquamarine blue and give the car a sleeker and more modern look. I've found suitable replacements for the front grills but nothing for the window/door trims, does anybody know of a supplier? I've already tried ebay. Failing that does anyone know how well the existing trim takes paint?

Looks a lovely A6. You could aways wrap it instead of painting it.
