Speakers

Featured Replies

Hello again lads

After a bit of advise again if possible. Rear door mid speakers have blown BOTH sides if you can believe that         (blame the missus, she does crank the sound up). Anyway can't find any info on line about them. I know the part number but not to interested in paying Audi prises. So does anybody know anything about the power output and the frequencies and the ohms. Not planning on replacing everything so I would like to just get something that will slot in with the system all ready in the car.

Part number for the original is 8K0 035 411 made by some company called ASK Industries in Poland. I always thought we had th B & O system but apparently not they have a "A" suffix

Thanks

Simon

Definitely don't rule out aftermarket upgraded items from pioneer, JVC etc.

Have a look at this regarding B&o speakers:

Thanks for the reply. I shouldn't really be surprised by this, as I actually work for a car manufacturing company and they do everything they can to cut costs. To them it's all about the bottom line, they all say the customer comes first but in reality it's profit first. Customer satisfaction is a secondary thought. Wonder why there is no brand loyalty anymore.

I was actually thinking of the aftermarket route when I asked the question, just can't find any info on the speakers like I said.

Exactly, I was shocked when I found out.

Definitely worth looking for speaker adapter kits first.

Yeah was gonna do this. Don't fancy chasing wire all all around the car. Done that years ago in an old E30, that was ok because they didn't have the speakers in the doors just in the front kick panels and rear shelves. Plus not replacing the whole system like I read some have done, just the speakers that have blown. I actually quite like the sound in our A4.
