Im_Deb Posted Saturday at 03:55 PM Posted Saturday at 03:55 PM Hi, I am unable to remove the message on my screen so any suggestions would be most appreciated. 聽I have tried every option on the touch screen but nothing so far.
Steve Q Posted Saturday at 04:02 PM Posted Saturday at 04:02 PM If confirming ok isn't working then it makes me wonder if there's an issue with the system. You could do a factory reset of the MMI to see if that helps. Alternatively you could get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up as to why the ok button isn't responding.聽 This is also linked to the my Audi app. Have you looked in the app to see if there's a way round it?聽
Im_Deb Posted yesterday at 10:03 AM Author Posted yesterday at 10:03 AM Hi Steve Q, Thank you for your reply. I have tried the app and it just tells me I have to pay to reinstate the function (Adaptive cruise control). The system has also reverted me to a guest user and removed me as a named user that the Audi dealer set me up with when I bought the car earlier this year.聽 I think I am going to have to pop into the main dealer nearest me. Do you think they would be of any help? Kind regards 聽
Steve Q Posted yesterday at 11:16 AM Posted yesterday at 11:16 AM That's a good idea as they set it up for you. Or try Audi customer services聽

BMW tried it a few years ago in regard to some of the luxury features that required an annual payment for continued operation.
Im_Deb Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago ThanksSteve Q. I popped in to my local dealer and explained the problem. Spoke to a young woman who reset my user. She looked at the screen and after a few moments of trial and error she found all that it needed was to press the roller wheel next to the OK on the steeling wheel and the message disappeared! Thanks for the help any one who replied on this forum. Kind regards
