Peter Podi Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago I have purchased 2008 Audi a6 c6 avant with no sound at all. MMI works, navi works, radio list frequencies however I cannot here anything. I have opened the left compartment at the back and the amplifier is missing, the optical loop is bypassed with a connector. Where can I find a correct amp part number for my car?
Steve Q Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago You'll need to go into Audi or type your reg on a parts store online to find the correct part number. As it'll depend if it's Bose, or standard Audi one etc. If you've just bought it from a dealer in the last 30 days then it's their responsibility to fix it free of charge as you're entitled to a full refund in the first 30 days after sale
Peter Podi Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago Private purchase, no joy. How to tell if my system is Bose or standard Audi? would these use different connector? Picture of a connector if you can tell?

Steve Q Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Bose would be listed in that list, also Bose labels will be on the speakers.
Peter Podi Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago Thank you. No Bose labels anywhere. Non-Bose system then. According to various sources: standard amp is available with following part numbers: 4F0910223H 4F0910223K 4F0910223L 4F0910223M Can anyone advise if any amp above can be connected to MMI system? What is the difference between these?
