MattyJayNZ Posted Tuesday at 06:07 AM Posted Tuesday at 06:07 AM Hi everyone I have recently purchased a 2007 A6 3.0Tdi S-line. It has an engine light on with the corresponding code P2008. After investigation I found that one of the actuator arms from the swirl vane motor on bank 1 is broken. The code however mentions an open electrical circuit so my question is, Would a broken actuator cause the fault code or is there more going on beyond that. The motor changes position during engine start so I assume that is operating OK. Thank you
Steve Q Posted Tuesday at 03:24 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:24 PM I think this is a common problem. Don't people usually remove them? 1
