2014 S5 - new owner in London

Featured Replies

Hi all, was able to after many years get myself an S5 convertible which genuinely was a big goal of mine. Really can't believe how amazing these things are!

It's got 58,990 miles on it and generally excellent condition with full service history, I even did a major service this month (including replacing spark plugs).

One issue I have at times is when going full lock at slow speeds (like roundabouts or sharp corners) it feels like the engine disengages and there is no power being delivered to the wheels. Anyone had anything similar or might know where I should be looking? Mentioned it to the mechanic before service, he said it could be the spark plugs after he replaced them. The number of times this happens has reduced but happens still now and again.

Hey Steve, when I had service done the spark plugs were replaced and noticed this issue to away.

It sometimes comes here and there but I think that's the quattro system kicking in and so need to give it more throttle when at full lock at slow speeds
