Passenger Side Creak

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I've recently purchased a 2021 A5 Sportback and I've had a continual issue that I can't get to the bottom of. When going over bumps/dips I occasionally get a sharp, click/creak coming from the front passenger side of the interior.  It's more noticeable but not limited to when the car gets hot from the sun.

I've removed the passenger door card and it still happens so I can completely rule that out and it still happens when the widows are either up or down. When trying to detect the direction of the sounds, it feels more like in the glove box area.

Interestingly I've owned 2, 2021 A5 Sportbacks and they both made the exact the same noise.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any thoughts/advice would be most welcome.

Thank you!

It feels like the sounds is coming from lower down, like in the glove box area. I'm going to get the door replaced because when you push it, it makes a similar noise to what I'm hearing. I'll keep this thread updated with any progress.
