Any help or advice much appreciated in advance. 

 

I have got the following codes on my s3 2007. 8p.

 

The car takes a while to turn over before starting. Misfires when cold start. It feels very sluggish when driving. It is hesitanting under acceleration.  Engine check light is on. 

Have you changed the oil temp sensor yet? 

Is it worth getting the fuel filter changed? If this is blocked it could be causing the issue. Also check around where the injectors are attached as injector seals can fail. 

Thanks for getting back to me. I will forward this on to my mechanic and let you know how i get on with it. I suspect possible fuel pump.  But injector seals are a shout. 

Soon as i get the car (2 weeks ago) i had a full service- all filters changed.  Will also change oil temp sensor as that flagged as one of the codes aswell.

You're welcome, please keep us posted on how you get on. If it is the pump then it's most light the high pressure fuel pump.

Hi guys just a wee update.  

 

The high pressure fuel pump and the cam follower has been replaced and the car runs sweet as a nut. 

 

The follower was badly worn and we believe this for causing the majority of the issues but as a precaution we replaced the hpfp aswell.
