Which Swan Neck do I Need?

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

Just bought a 2015 Q7 diesel 3L V6 (standard engine pretty much). I found that someone had previously installed the following towing equipment (in photo), but there’s sadly not a swan neck in the boot. I called the main dealer and explained what was already there, and he quoted me £2k. I apologised for my hysterics (!) - I literally couldn’t stop laughing… I tried to explain that I just needed the swan neck. He couldn’t help.
I’d be grateful if anyone is able to point me in the direction of a swan neck that will fit please.
many thanks in advance!

You'll have to try and find a part number on the towbar somewhere. If it's genuine Audi then I'd bet it's a westfalia one. If not Audi then it could be Witter or towtrust.

Good thinking Steve - and without noticing it previously, the word ‘Westfalia’ is clearly written across the electric hookup.
